The UALR William H. Bowen School of Law was founded in 1975 to provide a high quality legal education that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical concepts not only to practice law, but also to think critically about the efficacy of the law and legal institutions and work for their improvement. The school is located in Little Rock, Arkansas’ capital city, where our students receive incredible value for their tuition and engage with the state’s cultural, business, and governmental leaders. The school’s core values of professionalism, public service, and access to justice permeate the curriculum. Bowen has three clinics and five concurrent degree programs, including one degree offered concurrently with the Master of Public Service degree from the Clinton School of Public Service. The UALR Bowen School of Law Legal Studies eJournal contains abstracts, works in progress, and published papers from our faculty.
