The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law Research Paper Series publishes the legal scholarship of Faculty members, visiting scholars and selected works of post-graduate students. First established in 1969, the HKU Faculty of Law is the oldest law school in Hong Kong. The Faculty consists of the Department of Law and Department of Professional Legal Education. It currently has more than 70 full-time academic staff members and a student body of approximately 1,300 students. Its research centres include the Centre for Comparative and Public Law, Asian Institute of International Financial Law, Law and Technology Centre, Centre for Chinese Law, East Asian International Economic Law and Policy Programme and Hong Kong Legal Information Institute.
