Each For Equal Generation

Celebrate International Women’s Day 2020 by reading a research paper (March 8, 2020)

International Women’s Day 2020 is all about creating a gender equal world, and it is the perfect occasion to read one of the interesting papers we have on the topic at SSRN. For instance, I recently enjoyed reading this paper, “Who Did They Just Hire? A Content Analysis of Announcements of New College Presidents and Chancellors”, which looks at gender equity in the most powerful positions in US educational institutions.”

~Shirley Decker-Lucke, Content Director at SSRN

Scholars around the world are making great strides to positively change equality in the 21st century. SSRN introduced the Women’s & Gender Studies Research Network (WGSRN) just over two years ago to specifically support the early stage research initiatives in this area of social sciences.

With close to 24,000 papers, this research network is filled with dynamic material to discover, such as Policy Experiments to Address Gender Inequality among Innovators. We’ve curated interdisciplinary women’s and gender studies from fields including economics, international relations, political science and social movements, psychology, geography, law, health, history, arts, culture and the natural sciences, from authors around the world – well worth the read!
